Terms of service and refund policy

The plain-English rules for using dueeffort.com and buying from us. By using the site or buying a kit, you agree to them.

What Due Effort is

Due Effort runs automated website accessibility scans, explains the results in plain English, and keeps dated records of them. We sell the Letter Response Kit and plan to offer monthly plans. You can reach us at support@dueeffort.com.

What we are not

The Letter Response Kit

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you haven't run the kit yet. You can also get a full refund at any time if our scanner can't scan your site. Email kits@dueeffort.com from the address you bought with, and we'll process it within 5 business days. Stripe usually returns the money to your card within 5 to 10 days after that. When a kit is refunded, its code stops working.

Once a kit has been run and its evidence pack created, it isn't refundable, except when the scanner couldn't scan your site.

Using the site fairly

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the scanner accurate and the site available, but we provide the service as it is, without warranties beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses, including the outcome of any legal claim against your business.

Your information

How we handle your information is explained on our privacy page.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date below. Changes don't apply to kits bought before the change.
